This isn't the apology we need.

Or, at least, it's not the only one.

Editors' Note: December 22, 2008
Earlier this morning, we posted a letter that carried the name of Bertrand Delanoë, the mayor of Paris, sharply criticizing Caroline Kennedy.

This letter was a fake. It should not have been published.Somewhere, Sarah Palin is smiling.

So yet again hurry and laziness in the M$M

makes them more responsible and better than bloggers ... how, again?

We can admit that we’re killers … but we’re not going to kill today. That’s all it takes! ~ Captain James T. Kirk, Stardate 3193.0

I read the NYT only rarely

but for some reason saw that letter today and thought it was very strange 1) for a French municipal official, 2) to offer any opinion on a U.S. political question, 3) let alone to offer such a clear and absolute opinion. Nothing about the letter made sense, so I'm unsurprised that this has come to bite the NYT in the bum.

American journalistic standards

are gone with the wind.

Pathetic.

Bwahahaha!

Not that it matters much

But, do you think the people that let this through knew who Bertrand Delanoë was? Anyway, it's yet another example ofhow the NY Times (and our MSM) is making itself increasingly irrelevant, news-wise.

But, we've always been at war with Eastasia...
