Italian TV: US Used Chemical Weapons in Assault on Fallujah

Holy F'ing Sheebus. Via Nur al-Cubicle.

I'm taking a break from watching the video available here in English, Italian and Arabic.

Warning: extremely gory and morally sickening. Descriptions below the fold.

UPDATE: I've watched the rest. More horrors and a list of evidence below the fold. Also, Crooks and Liars is now hosting the video.

There is video of dead civilians (yes, women, kids) whose skin is burnt to a crisp but their clothes are perfectly intact! This is alleged to be the effect of fine phosphorous particles which, when dispersed by a warhead, corrode the skin of humans and animals.

This video was followed up by video of a dead guy who had ben tortured by the Iraqi or a nearby Arab country's "Intelligence Service" by having holes drilled into him.

I can't deal. I'm taking a break. More after I watch the rest.

Continued... I watched the rest.

Below are the sources and the evidence presented in the Italian TV piece. I watched it in Italian to make sure the translation wasn't leading people to wrong conclusions. And by the way RAI, the station that produced this segment, is the state-owned media of the Italian Government. Interestingly, they have more independence than the "private" Italian TV stations which Berlusconi owns outright.

- Footage taken by an Iraqi medical team that entered Fallujah after the battle in November, 2004 of scorched dead bodies with intact clothes

- Photos taken by an inhabitant of Fallujah who made a presentation to the European government showing scorched dead bodies with intact clothes.

- An interview with a US vet (Jeff Engelhart, former USMC) who was in Fallujah at the time of the assault and for the aftermath. He asserts that:

- He heard a message coming over the military communication system in his truck saying: "We're going to drop some Whiskey Pete" military code for White Phosphorous

- He says White Phosporous and/or Napalm were used in Fallujah

- He describes the effects of White Phosphorous, which reacts only to molecules containing water, like human skin and flesh, but not necessarily clothes.

- He says he saw the effects of the chemical weapons. He says women and children were killed by them.

- He says the US military was told by the Pentagon to wait until after the US elections to begin the assault on Fallujah.

- A document dated June 13, 2005 from the UK Ministry of Defence stating that reports from US Marines in 2003 show that they used a weapon called MK77 which has "similar destructive effects" to Napalm. The letter is addressed to Alice Mahon, a former member of the British Parliament who had pressed the UK government for this info.

- Footage allegedly dating from November 8, 2004 of helicopters dropping what look like incendiary bombs on Fallujah.

The images of the scorched bodies make me think that somebody in the White House, the Pentagon, the upper ranks of the US Military or all of the above had the brilliant idea that using Phosphorous and/or Neo-Napalm bombs on Fallujah would be appropriate retribution for the scorched bodies of the four US contractors killed there months earlier.

And now to find a way to get these images out of my brain. Any suggestions?
