We might even have a tie- then swear in TWO presidents and two VPs - and they can all govern from a big, round table in one of John McCain's many kitchens.

I suspect Obama to drop a lot of his focus on exploiting identity politics because of Biden. God, I sure hope so.

Actually, I think we'll only see a decrease in ageism and racism. I actually expect to see an increase of sexism given Biden's inclusion on the ticket.

Oh, and as for McCain's vice presidential pick, I was once of the same mind that he'd go conventional, but for some reason I'm sensing he's going to turn this thing upside down, now. I think he will play identity politics with his pick. Watch Cantor of Virginia (young and Jewish), Jindal of Louisiana (young and Indian), Powell (need I say more), and quite a few other minorities and women. If he can take away from Obama the argument that Obama is history making, alone, Obama becomes "just another politician" leaving only the issues and character to fight on. In that battle, it's a much fairer fight.

After checking through my other recent post, I can't find it. It was concerning my prediction that with Biden on the ticket we'd see a decrease in race-bating and ageism, but likely the same level or increase in sexism.

I also then went on to make a prediction about who McCain would choose as his vice president, and why.

She's REALLY onboard the McCain train.

I'm suspecting she might be the pick.

If I were McCain, that's what I'd do.

I've always thought (and still do) that the Republican Party would be more likely to elevate a woman to the White House first.

And I think that woman will look and sound like Fiorina.

(She's also a telecom insider.)

A Biden-Fiorina Debate wouldn't be pleasant for Dems.
