Ken "Cakewalk" Adelman endorses Obama

lambert's picture

Here. Because it's all about judgment, don't you know. I mean, who next after Powell and Adelman? Norman Podheretz?

NOTE The WaPo original of "Cakewalk" has oddly, or not, disappeared. Only the headline remains. The lone and level sands stretch far away. Via Booman, who burbles, hilariously:

It's an excellent sign for Obama's presidency that he has such a broad range of elite support.

Of course, I'm less concerned with Obama's presidency than I am in the values and interests of people like me, which most of the elite -- including the wannabe elite in the "creative" [cough] "class" -- does not support.

Maybe it will take the logical extreme to make the point. Heads will explode.

apparently no one is unredeemable or beyond the pale for

Obama and his supporters--no one.

They've wrapped themselves skintight in Reagan's rotting corpse, after all.

The Reagan Revolution is Back, Baby!

Remember, kids, old ideas and old politics aren't acceptable, anymore, unless, of course, they are old Republican ideas and talking points.

"Powelly/Adely, you're doin' a heckuva' job."

So, Obama has told us Powell will definitely be a closer advisor. Well, whether that's true or not I know one thing is for sure: no bad deed ever goes unrewarded.

But, we've always been at war with Eastasia...

Not to mention the charming Michael Smerconish.

Strange bedfellows, indeed.

Eee-ew.

Very disturbing.

Smerconish? Really? Linky goodness, please.

I'd really like to see that one Card-Carrying B.

The surprises; they just keep coming.

Good reading! Favorite quote: What could go wrong?
Beyond war, inflation, the end of the technology/productivity wave, and financial collapse, we think the most potent and short-term threat would be societies demanding a more ‘equitable’ share of wealth.
