Obama planning to buy PA’s vote:

Obama hopes to deliver a knock-out blow by outspending her in advertising. With tens of millions from fundraising at his disposal, he plans to spend well over $2m (£1m) on ads in the run-up to the primary, at least twice as much as the cash-strapped Clinton campaign.

In Philadelphia, which could determine the outcome, he reserved for the final days $465,000 worth of television and radio spots, while Clinton reserved $91,000 worth.

Obama’s strategy, which he has deployed time and again during his political career, is that the more money spent on advertising, the higher the odds of winning an election.

Man, that’s a lot of ham, even at $99.99!

So, Obama skedaddles to NC after losing to Hillary, trashes her from there, but leaves one thing behind:

His ad buyers.

Classy from start to finish.

Oh, and Springsteen’s from New Jersey.

All that money

All the fawning press coverage, all the OFB haka, and he will still lose by double digits.

Think of all those people scraping up money to stoke His giant ego. I guess a fool and his money …

he's outspent her everywhere--and still

no big state except his home state was won by him.

I just saw his first ad here in Oregon today. Basically just him preaching his unity pony mess to a crowd. No substance. If these are the kinds of ads he’s running in PA, I don’t think it will matter how many he buys.

Candidate spending money on

Candidate spending money on ads==buying votes

What a profound analysis, Lambert.

ps. Those damn kids and their rap music.

If he’s doing a media

If he’s doing a media blitz and his ads *aren’t* talking about issues, that’s probably going to backfire on him.

Because according to some of the more than 14,000 comments that ABC got at its website after the debate (some of which Chet Scoville posted here), voters want to hear the candidates’ positions on the issues.
