Toxic leader Kos:
Update on negotiations
Lots of FUD floating around, but assuming this is an accurate portrayal of the current situation, it looks like 1) Democrats capitulate on bankruptcy protections and this gift to Wall Street at the expense of Main Street is finalized, or 2) Democrats hold firm on the bankruptcy stuff and the whole thing falls apart.I'm rooting for the latter, but history tells us it'll be the former.
Gad. Wussy headline aside, why is it that this little C list blog is screaming for citizens to call their [cough] representatives, and all the [cough] leader of the biggest and most orange-y political blog in the world, the one that's the size of a cable station, can do is say "Gee, good luck, I hope it works out for ya!" and hasn't bestirred his own self to organize a fucking thing?
Oh, and Lord Kos's candidate of choice has, quelle surprise, been just as effective as Lord Kos himself. Plenty of room here under the bus, homeowners!
The disconnect between citizens (see the astonishing numbers here) and the Village
-- among whom Lord Kos must clearly be numbered -- has rarely been so clear.

good catch
imagine the fury he could unleash if he would bestir himself. Face it, he has made the career change, he is a courtier now.
He's waiting for Barry to talk to Harry to talk to Hank; then
Geroge, and John, maybe Nancy, and some Repubs bcz Barry's way bipartisan.
Hell, think Obama's ever talked to Bernie Sanders? Seriously?
Anyway, until the pack knows which way Dear Leader is going, they're just milling around, licking their balls, or having little dog fights.
George and John? How about Ringo?
[rimshot. laughter]
[ ] Very tepidly voting for Obama [ ] ?????. [ ] Any mullah-sucking billionaire-teabagging torture-loving pus-encrusted spawn of Cthulhu, bless his (R) heart.

Didn't you know?
C is the new A.
Looks like conservative republican house members have gotten to Boehner, who apparently caused "a contentious moment" at the White House. Senator Dodd is frustrated (seen on CNN) and the right is astir. We may see this "agreement" change yet again.
Democrats have completely lost the narrative
Again. Now, no matter how this all plays out, bailout, less sucky bailout, or no deal at all - the Republicans will rightfully crow to the highest heaven that they forced a better deal and were willing to go to the mats to "protect" the hard working merican peoples.
This is so completely right out of their playbook it is FUCKING STUNNING TO SEE IT ALL PLAY OUT AGAIN.
Sorry for the shouting but G-D, this just makes me sick and more depressed than I already am.
Freakin pathetic.
