Funny how Hillary’s going around giving detailed and wonky bullet points on policy to supposedly low information voters—and though our famously free press yawns, the crowds eat it up with a spoon.
Meanwhile, our supposedly high information voters, exemplified by the “creative class” [cough] types, have all gone gaga for the Unity

’Tis a puzzlement!
Tell me again who the people are who really care about politics, how government works, and the way the country is going might be?

Technocrats not visionaries
See, this argument is easily dissipated:
Hillary is wonky, so she sounds smart, so stupid people listen to her and think she *is* smart, but if they were high-information voters, they’d see through her, and in any case she’s a technocrat when we need an inspirational leader…
See, you are attempting to critique Obama’s supporters while assuming that they share your criteria. The responses to you are therefore very easy. You need to critique their criterion. And that means understanding what their criterion is. If the criterion really is just misogyny, then that’s all you have to say. I happen to believe that there is misogyny as that is necessarily a part of Monica-based CDS. But I also happen to believe that it is only a part.
Mandos: The "creative class"
that lambert is talking about is the media.
Bob Somerby has detailed how the media think the voters hate “policy” discussion, even though the voters seem to find them informative and interesting.
The media said it with Bill, Al, and now Hillary.
The truth is the media hates the wonky stuff, they would rather discuss Monica 24/7/365/1000years
“The key marker of a Hillary Hater is the willingness to state, in almost the same breath, that it is out of control and then to plunge in for a full-throated round of it.” - Anglachel

Well, I assumed also the Obama supporters and activists at, uh, other sites.
That really is a delicious
That really is a delicious bit of irony Lambert…
Don't forget the Archie Bunkers
Grand Wizard Clinton appeared on Ellen’s show Monday, publicly associating with and supporting The Gays and yet The Enlightened are the ones rationalizing Obama denying an interview with the Philly Gay News and embracing Meeks and McClurkin.
Creatives
The creative class reads the papers every day, it has the time after all, and it reads that Hillary is as bad as the Taliban, may be worse. The creatives go to creative parties and creative Starbusks (to be overcharged for bad coffee). You don’t expect an individual of the creatives to be caught with his Hillary supporting pants down, while almost every creative is an Obama ass, do you?
