What a humongous asshole.

Isaiah 58:6-7

6 “Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen:
to loose the chains of injustice
and untie the cords of the yoke,
to set the oppressed free
and break every yoke?
7 Is it not to share your food with the hungry
and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter—
when you see the naked, to clothe them,
and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?

I sure hope he can't buy a fourth term. Go die, homeless!

WTF, this is so far beyond me, I can't tell you ...

He's doing it "because the city can’t assess their salt, fat and fiber content." Huh????

I had to read the story three times to make sure it said what I thought it said. And it still doesn't make any sense. If he's so concerned about the health of homeless people, why doesn't he get them off the streets? And what about New Yorkers with homes -- is he monitoring what they're eating, too? Or tourists -- do they have to meet specific nutrition guidelines while visiting?

This is a total crock and this whole country has turned into such a repulsive place, it's mind-boggling. I am floored -- just floored.
