Mom: "If not for Mike Huckabee, Wayne Dumond would have been in prison, and Carol Sue would have been with us for Christmas."

A stocking stuffer:

The truth hurts.

And now, the Inside Baseball: who funded the ad?

NOTE Of course, the really interesting part of the story is that Huckabee arranged for Dumond's freedom because a bunch of Arkansas-based, Clinton-hating, conspiracy theorizing Christianist loons--sorry for the multiple redundancies--pushed him on it. Oddly, that part of the story never makes it into the narratives of our famously free press. I wonder why?

UPDATE Now we know: Keith Emis, a disaffected Arkansas Republican. Which would also explain why the VRWC involvement is airbrushed out of the video.

I wonder if Steve Dunleavy

I wonder if Steve Dunleavy of the New York Post thinks he deserves a Pulitzer Prize for his brilliant reporting on the Wayne Dumond case.

Scum.
