More typical behavior from the Bush Administration

More typical behavior from the Bush Administration.

In retaliation for Scott McClellan's new saucy tell all book, which he is now pimping*.

I like this part.

Fox News contributor and former White House adviser Karl Rove said on that network Tuesday that the excerpts from the book he's read sound more like they were written by a "left-wing logger" than his former colleague.

Messengers. They shoot them.

"They're saying some of the exact same things about McClellan they said about me."

-- Richard Clarke, former White House counterterrorism chief. (emphasis added)

I remember the respect I gained for Clarke, when he was the first official who had the courage to apologize for his failure, and the failure of his colleagues.** I hope whoever is elected in '08, offers him a fucking job.

*NOTE to David Schuster: It is quite permissible to "pimp" inanimate objects, like one you possess, especially if you created it. You cannot posses and therefore "pimp" another person, especially if you created it. Got it?

**To add: Not that McClellan's deserves the same respect. Clarke was in a position where he could work from the inside in hopes of preventing the next "big one" in 2000, whereas McClellan's biggest asset was to tell us this shit, WHILE THERE WAS STILL TIME, like in September 2004.

Happy I could make your day! :)

Bill Clinton for First Dude!!!

At least he acknowledges

At least he acknowledges the existence of left-wing bloggers, unlike certain Democratic candidates for President.
