Reports: IAF Landed at Saudi Base, US Troops near Iran Border
The Israeli Air Force recently unloaded military equipment at a Saudi Arabia base, a semi-official Iranian news agency claimed Wednesday, while a large American force has massed in Azerbaijan, which is on the northwest border of Iran.
Because the military is not over strained as it is.

It could well be true
but it's worth pointing out that the Iranians are not exactly disinterested parties in this. Nor have their media shown a lot of scruples about sticking to the truth against the national interest. So they could just be making it all up to whip up popular fervor in their own version of "Look! Over there! Sarah Palin!"
That said, the way to predict the future at this point seems to be to ask "What's the worst that could happen?" So there's way too much plausibility to it.
