NIE on Iran a clear Casus Belli

And you America doubters-in-chief thought it would stop the drumbeat to war.

Watch as Bush explains it all, nice and slow for all the haters in the house:

I think the NIE makes it clear that Iran needs to be taken seriously as a threat to peace.

[…] I believed before the NIE that Iran was dangerous and I believe after the NIE that Iran is dangerous.

And I have said Iran is dangerous. And the NIE doesn’t do anything to change my opinion about the danger Iran poses to the world. Quite the contrary.

How could it be read any other way?

People have been wondering why he did it. Anyone who can actually read and think rationally realizes this invalidates everything Darth Cheney and L’il Boots have been pushing.

In their psychotic tiny minds, this rationalizes their actions.

The faction that prefers intelligence gathering, or the faction that loves them some covert boogaloo?

The faction that farms out work to DynCorp, or the faction that prefers Blackwater perfidy? Or has relatives in any of a dozen other companies that do dirty deeds dirt cheap?

Are we talking about the Poppy Bu$h geriatric Reptilicans, or L’il Boots’ NeoCon faithful? Or the Third Way faction of the Clintonista?

I’m not slammin’ yer estimate, Bruce F. I think it highly likely that the Big Shitpile is starting to clog the pipes all over the world. And the last thing any Company subsidiary wants is a corporate venture that might lead to Pootie-poot or Team Xinhua making off with all the Texas Tea.

But back to Silber, someone who I greatly respect:
