Nixon's Resignation - I Say - Encore, Encore

    Thirty-three years ago today, President Nixon announced his resignation to the American people. On August 9, 1974, he left office, famously flashing his twin peace signs before boarding Marine One.

    I expect that the viewers at that time privately flashed him the "bird" back.

    The historical parallels between Nixon and Bush are undeniable.

    That is, except for the credible, honest and imminent Congressional movement towards impeachment.

    Gee - maybe that could work again...?
