Sen. Larry Craig is reconsidering his decision to resign after his arrest in a Minnesota airport sex sting and may still fight for his Senate seat, his spokesman said Tuesday evening.
"More tea, Vicar?"

I know they're tacky, I know they're juvenile, but this is one of those times I SO want that big-mouth-laughing-its-yellow-ass-off animated smiley Haloscan has on those rare occasions it's working right.

...and it got very little attention but I *still* believe 100% that what inspired this little stunt was that quote from back in '05 when Craig not only voted against but spoke out against the Patriot Act as infringing excessively on civil liberties, and Bush threw an absolute screaming fit and demanded that Craig be taken out in the primary.
Hell, if I lived in Idaho I might vote for him myself just on that basis.

Craig certainly pissed somebody off. Otherwise, this would have been swept under the carpet.
