Poor little Michelle Bachmann! In spite of direct evidence (as in, her actual comments recorded by a camera during her interview with, of all people, Chris Matthews) to the contrary, The Honorable Michelle wants you to know she "Never called all liberals anti-American."
No, actually. Just, you know, the ones in Congress, and any who associate with Barack Obama. Now, what this tells me about her grasp of reality is... well, she hasn't got one.
So, do the GOP really think that if you're NOT one of their base, you're not American?
The evidence is there. They talk about the "pro-America parts of America."
They talk about "the real Virginia."
But the really funny (not funny ha-ha, but funny weird, kinda sad, a little disturbing) is the idea that Barack Obama is a liberal.

I don't mind revisiting
the topic of "how stupid is Michelle Bachmann?". Hell, there's a blog devoted solely to that topic, and they ain't hurting for material. She is a lizard-brained flake, a rube, a (yes, yes, I know) Dominionist, a moronic scold, a fawning Bush-licker, uh fawning Bush ass-kiser I mean, and oh, she is going to lose. And it will be a sweet, sweet day in Minnesota (and for the country, and for the planet) when she does.
Almost as sweet as it would have been if Reagan had been defeated (with apologies to Democratic Reagan lovers, whoever they are).
Elwin Tinklenberg has truly been blessed with by opponent.
