don't forget....

that if Clinton doesn't win by at least 40%, she hasn't met expectations, and its a victory for Obama.

IMHO, any double digit victory by Clinton is a repudiation of the Democratic Party's choice of "presumptive nominee". After McCain was declared the winner by the media (based on his actually being inevitable -- he was so close to the GOP magic number after ST that there was no way he could lose) the GOP rank and file fell into line -- the worst he did after ST was a one point loss to Huckabee in Louisiana (43%-42%).

But for months now, the media has tried to portray Obama as "inevitable", and voters keep saying "DO NOT WANT!" --- that despite her "high negatives" voter prefer Clinton to Obama.

Tweety was cohost on Morning Joe

today--Terry McAuliffe had a great line about him --"I see Obama's campaign manager is there with you"

Tweety got all pissy, but he was appalling as usual about Clinton throughout. He also went on and on analyzing all the women who support her -- they're divorced, not happy with their lives, getting older, don't have good jobs or careers, disappointed in life, etc ... it was really something--esp coming from him.

i'm working at home all this week, and have MSNBC on now--the spin as i type is that Obama's superdelegate gains these past 2 weeks give him more than Hillary could possibly win today, so WVa is not a win for her. ugh.

Now with the results in and Clinton up by 41

I think the headline will be "Obama beats Edwards by 20 points!" Subheading: "Clinton Also Manages to Escape Edwards' Strong Showing."

Excellent headline ...

except John Edwards kind of messed it up! BAC

Hillary nets approximately 145k in popular votes

235,857 - 90,608 = 145,249 with 99% reporting

Pretty fucking awesome gain for a "small state"

Good reading! Favorite quote: What could go wrong?
Beyond war, inflation, the end of the technology/productivity wave, and financial collapse, we think the most potent and short-term threat would be societies demanding a more ‘equitable’ share of wealth.
