Obama's historic presidency

Has anyone ever had a failed administration before actually winning the election?

Since the media and the superdelegates told us that Obama was The One, he's presided over the dismantling of multiple amendments, stirred the pot in the Middle East, and pissed away nearly a trillion dollars of tax-payers' money. Imagine what he can do once he has the job!

I'm probably being too harsh. The Bush/Obama agenda is a smashing success for the 1% of Americans who matter.

Hoover--

I say he'll be Hoover--McCain will be too, if he gets in.

There's no FDR running.

Alas, I fear this is

only too true, too true.

Reporter to Gandhi: What do you think of Western Civilization?
Gandhi to reporter: I think it would be a good idea.

I think Obama is a Republican candidate.

My unified theory of everything related to this campaign works like this:

Republicans are aggressive about finding ways to prevent Democrats who can win the White House from getting themselves in the position to do so - Roger Stone was given $2.5 million to take out Eliot Spitzer. If you look at Obama's career, it starts getting cushy around the time it becomes clear that Clinton will win her senate seat. In 2004, you find the same Roger Stone (Republican Ratfucker Supreme) running and financing Al Sharpton's campaign for the presidency. Now why would a Republican be doing that? Though he acquitted himself admirably (Palin could take a few lessons from him) Sharpton had no potential to upset that race. Fast forward to 2007, and Edwards has been running for 4 years and has maybe $15m in the bank. Clinton is backed by a full term in the Senate, a resoundingly successful re-election campaign with a good amount of cross over voting, the achievements of her husband's administration, a massive popularity within the Dem party and a heavy duty war chest. Obama is a virtual unknown, with no legislative accomplishments, and mysteriously, oil men are shoving money into his coffers. In addition, he's allegedly raising tens millions of dollars from grass roots sources (see Clinton's attempt to pay of her outstanding debt for the source of my skepticism on that front). And the press pulls its punches - just as they did with Bush. Now we're into the race itself, and I haven't seen any 527 ads of note. Where are the equivalents to the SBVT ads? McCain's celebrity ads drew blood and went away. Why are't we seeing Obama Soprano ads with lots of juicy details about his financial relationship with Rezko? Why isn't that murdered choir director getting big coverage in the tabloids? Why isn't Wright being paraded around on tv and given ample opportunity to make a fool of Obama? What happened to his book that was supposed to come out in September? Why aren't all the things that normally happen to Democrats happening?

I think, without any substantiation, that a deal was made - Obama gets to be president but he has to take out Clinton. That, at least, explains why the DNC was so eager to cheat on behalf of a thoroughly repulsive and corrupt candidate. I see no other reason for their enthusiasm or their willingness to believe he could win. If you have to cheat as much as they had to cheat to get a candidate through the primary, why would you have any reason to think he could get through the general election when the party apparatus has no ability to control the outcome? It makes no sense. Unless, of course, they had other reasons to believe he could win.

I'll know I'm wrong if the 527 ads start coming fast and furious hotly telling tales of three ways between the Obamas and Bill Ayres, insinuations of Rezko bribing Obama for god knows what - and on and on. If those ads don't happen, then I will remain pretty confident that the GOP is in the tank for obama.

One of the first things Rove did on candidate Bush's behalf was go to the media and tell them that his candidate would support enlarging the portion of any given media market that a media corporation was allowed to own. He gave them a financial reason to back Bush. I wonder why they have been so easy on Obama?

Tin foil off.

If we are the ones we have been waiting for, then we have met the enemy and he is us.

The Bush/Obama agenda

is a framing that has the ring of truth and authenticity.

There is nothing both Wall Street and War Masters like better than continuity in the flow of ducats from taxpayers' hands to theirs. They hate uncertainty. (Clinton made them so nervous.) And as the last few weeks have shown us, mission accomplished.

Does that mean we're only half way to total insolvency? Do you think the next eight years of precipitous descent will be as much fun as the previous ones? I'm betting they'll be even more fun. After all, he has a middle name everyone knows but we can't mention. I mean, how cool is that? And if they can't mention that, I wonder what else they can't (and won't, and dont, and will never ever) mention? I'd say it's historic.

Angel you have opened the can

let the worms come out.

There is no other explanation. He was a nobody. In terms of true accomplishments, he still is a nobody. Regardless of how much respect those in his party show for him, he is still perhaps now a decent study, but an obvious lightweight at all times.

Any other person, white or black, male or female with his resume and his baggage would have been laughed off the stage and/or been cremated and left for ashes had they try to run for President.

Clinton had to be taken out first, though. Everything we've seen from his huge $100 million war chest that magically materialized before anyone even knew who he was or that he was even running, to those fraudulent caucuses, to the openly rigged post-primary DNC proceedings and pre-primary machinations. This man is a packaged president, a made man of a ruling elite, an artificial construct, a president imposed by fiat upon us. And those who control the Democratic party apparatus are in complete collusion.

So no matter how touching and moving the entreaty may be, any call to support the Democrats because the Democrats are good and the Republicans are bad, is based on ignorance. And you can suck your thumbs all you want, it's not going to change the fact that if Obama wins those who made him will gain a foothold that will not be relinquished nor taken back. Perhaps ever.

This is (or was) our last chance to hold on to anything even remotely functioning as an opposition party. Disgusting and unbelievable as it may seem, a McCain victory this year is the slender thread by which our hopes now hang. Otherwise the concept of opposition will be akin to a mass masturbatory experience, and nothing more real than that.

Makana44...

Where's the info on the repub machine behind BO? The oilmen? I'm not challenging you, I'm just very interested and this will probably convince me to stay away from the polls and not support this man.
