Once Again, "I Told You So."

Sigh. But does anyone listen to me? No. People, the term is "dogpile" and while I'm not vouching for them as the liberal alternative, as far as I know, they aren't doing this:

Google is "eager" to work with the Republican Party and has boosted its presence in Washington, D.C., according to Roll Call.

"Google, one of the fastest-growing companies in Silicon Valley, is ramping up its political clout in Washington, D.C., while taking a series of steps to court Republicans," report Tory Newmyer and Paul Kane for Roll Call. "The company is filing paperwork today to open its first-ever political action committee, and later this month, it will make an endangered GOP incumbent the beneficiary of its first-ever Washington fundraiser."

"The search-engine giant this month also deepened its ties to Republicans by inking a deal with former GOP Sens. Dan Coats (Ind.) and Connie Mack (Fla.) to lobby on its behalf," the article continues.

I've long understood that google plays around with search results to favor entities and interests I don't like; but this should seal the deal with you. Dogpile is a meta-search engine, and it includes google results along with those from other popular engines, so you don't even have to give up the habit in truth if you're addicted. But I hope everyone keeps this is mind as you hear about things like ranking and popularity at google (you know who I'm looking at).

The bottom line today, especially today when every thinking person can see what utter slime the Republican party is filled with, is that anyone who wants to work with them is just not trustworthy.

Listen to your Auntie Dyke more often, ok kids?
