Shhh...don't say anything, but this is from my neighbor's frontyard...

In May and June the Jacaranda paints Los Angeles a purple shade of blue. In August it is the Crape Myrtle that explodes on the scene. A wallflower most of the year, she ditches modesty and goes wild in mid-summer. Gots to love the Myrtle!
