I don’t want to suggest that everyone would be better off under the Obama tax plan. Joe the plumber would almost certainly be better off, but Richie the hedge fund manager would take a serious hit.
So, I'm happy that Richie might take a hit on his taxes, depending on the quality of his accountant.
Then again, I just paid part of Richie's salary and bonus -- thanks to Obama working the phones for the Buch + Reid + Pelosi + Obama + Paulson trillion dollar giveaway to the big banks --- so Richie works for me, and I don't think much of his performance this year.
So, it's Richie's top line I'm worried about, not his bottom line -- or whether Richie has a job at all. Because I'm not sure I can afford him anymore.
NOTE Double ouch! Hey, why doesn't Broderella have a blog, anyhow?

Yes, comparing Krugman and Broder in '05 was eye-opening
Someone mentioned a bailout blog to me and I haven't had time to check it out in depth but perhaps Bailout Sleuth might be a helpful source? Seemingly, there are some original documents here...
"One of the reasons that we created BailoutSleuth was to help ensure that the process, including the selection and compensation of contractors, is as transparent as possible." http://bailoutsleuth.com/
Awesome link!
