Apparently, there's a non-racist way to liken a black man to a "banana-eating jungle monkey." (via)

The Amazing English Language, Indeed

I've loving the running conservative narrative of this whole thing that somehow began to leak into the MSM, as well.

Gates is an arrogant (uppity) professor with lots of opinons he shouldn't have and speak, and he hates white people, and quite frankly deserved his arrest and detention (and, now, apparently, he's also a banana-eating jungle monkey). You're not supposed to talk to officers the way Gates allegedly talked to the cop. Silly Professor Gates; you're lucky you didn't get beaten within an inch of your life for your smart mouth! Everyone knows that you're supposed to role over and show him your belly to acknowledge his alpha-male status.

Obama, in the words of Glenn Beck and Rush, is a racist and another angry black man that also hates white people, and a person who shouldn't have had an opinion on this issue especially considering he's not even the legitimate president, because he's an Muslim African. Oh, and he's a psuedo Black Panther with a chip on his shoulder who hates Real Americas, white Americans, police officers, and thus, by proxy, the troops.

Sgt. Crowley is a smart and wise policemen, an outstanding officer (and the president knows this) just "doing his job," and could not possibly harbor any racial animus, at all, because, look! he tried to save black NBA player Reggie Lewis and taught racial profiling at the academy, guys! How could a good man possibly "act stupidly"? Only bad men act stupidly.

Oh, and that wacky, racist Boston cop next door? Oh, ignore him. He's a total aberration. Come on, guys, this isn't about race! For true! Now, how about we all have a beer and forget that this ever happened?

My god, we are so royally fucked. "Change" my ass. This noisy circus has been utterly depressing. My post was rambling and childish because that's exactly how the commentary in the MSM has sounded, to me: child-like (naive), disjointed, and noisy.

But, we've always been at war with Eastasia...

Yes, it was remarkable how deferential

the common citizenry is apparently required to be in the presence of The Cops.

They wanted Gates -- and us -- Head down, shufflin' along, yessuh, yesboss, sho' 'nuff, sorry boss.
