Parallel Rebellions

Just like the Left's activist base is pissed at the Beltway Dems over the War vote, the Right Wingers are "http://www.washingtontimes.com/national/20070531-050131-2781r.htm">pissed at the Beltway GOP:

There has been a sharp decline in contributions from RNC phone solicitations, another fired staffer said, reporting that many former donors flatly refuse to give more money to the national party if Mr. Bush and the Senate Republicans insist on supporting what these angry contributors call "amnesty" for illegal aliens.

The Beltway players (D and R) are doing the bidding of the Corporations -- who want Oil and empire in one case, cheap labor in the other -- and desperately trying to sell it to their respective bases. Which side, if either, will follow the wishes of their core voters?

Good reading! Favorite quote: What could go wrong?
Beyond war, inflation, the end of the technology/productivity wave, and financial collapse, we think the most potent and short-term threat would be societies demanding a more ‘equitable’ share of wealth.
