Another "progressive" Obama supporter drops a steaming load. Wow, I'm shocked:

Pelosi told reporters on Capitol Hill that a cut proposed by President Barack Obama in the fiscal cliff negotiations would in fact "strengthen" the program, echoing the claims often made by Republicans about entitlement programs they want to slash.

Oh please. Now the Democrats are just lying openly.  How in the name of sweet suffering Jeebus does cutting $1,000 from an 85-year-old woman's $12,000 already-paid-for pension with chained CPI strengthen anythiing?*
