Charles Dutoit as Chief Conductor of the Philadelphia Orchestra. The man shaped the Montreal Orchestra into a world-class unit with no money and very little support from his city. Think what he's going to be able to do with an orchestra that's already world-class, with a rich tradition.

All you 30-somethings reading this blog: It's time to learn to listen to and love music that grows neurons, instead of blowing them out. Get your 2008-09 season tickets now; I unequivocally recommend him.
