Pit Bull Peeps to Would-Be Veep: Leave Our Breed Out of It!
Oddly, the McCain Campaign's response to a request for comment was "Gov. Palin does in fact have one thing in common with a pitbull: neither is capable of answering questions from reporters." Doesn't seem like something they'd be proud of.
Has any reporter ever attempted to interview a Pit Bull? I suspect Daddy, Ceser Milan's famous Pit Bull would be willing to do a press conference.

pitbull=fighting, strength, viciousness, tenacity, etc
the GOP always has appealing reinforcing labels--especially this time--
the pitbull and the maverick.
what have we got--2 blowhards?
pit bulls

What a stupid statement!
GOP forbid she would have to talk to the people(press)!
Oh My Dog (God)
The GOP has lost the Pitbull Anti-Defamation League. Someone call this election, already. Game over, man; game over.
One of my parents owns a pit bull. And, while I love the dog to death, the difference between an angry pit bull and an angry teacup yorkie is that one is capable of killing a full-grown man when its frightened/angry. That's not to say that the Pitbull Anti-Defamation League has no need to exist, but let's pick our battles, guys.
But, we've always been at war with Eastasia...
*any* dog
that is pit bull sized or larger is capable of killing a full-grown human.
Yes
But "Golden Retriever" doesn't quite roll off the tongue like "Pit Bull". ;) Hell, the things have "pit" and "bull" in their name.
Sorry, I really don't mean to be insensitive to Pit Bull owners, but I do think it's a bit disingenous to paint them and other dogs historically bred for particularly aggresive and physical tasks as the same as every other average domesticated breed.
