Gaillardia grandiflora "Mesa Yellow"
Blanket Flower -- so called because they used to cover the prairies in North America... and the original stock can still be found there. This is a fairly new hybrid, "Mesa Yellow" and it is really a beautiful clear yellow and has a very soft appearance. It's all kinds of tolerant and is a first year blooming perennial.
Zones 5a to 10b, blooms spring thru fall and is a big pollinator attractor, 18-24" high, upright and compact.
