Put That Pitchfork to Use: TPM's Got the Data Dump, Needs Diggers

It's shiny, sparkly, and sharp as hell for a reason. Pitchforks, when not being used to bring down tyrants directly, serve as digging implements. Get over to TMP's collection of all the DoJ crap, which they have posted (most of them should be up by the time you read this) and systemetized (is that a word?) for all of us to go through, searching for nuggets of criminality.

Try to go through the comment thread to see what's been looked at already. Or just grab a number at random and look through it again; you may catch something the original viewer didn't understand the significance of. Or you may know background on the subject of that particular page and see how it relates to some other subject or bigger issue. OR...this is public, which means that trolls can read it too. If you see a "gee, this is just dull procedural crap, nothing interesting here at all"...this may be a diversionary tactic. What the hell, give that page a read anyway.

Then be sure to note their system they ask you to use to report your findings. This is going to get cumbersome with (reports conflict) 2000 to 3000 pages to go through, but that's Josh & Co's problem to keep track of. Do what you can. This is history in the making here, and you can be a part of it.

You got that pitchfork for a reason. Time to put it to use. To the barricades, citoyens!

(Note, these pages are all PDFs, which I suspect everybody else loathes, hates and contemptifies as much as I do. Live with it, that's what we've got. Can you imagine trying to go through this much crap on paper? Kwitcherbitchin and get to work.)

Good reading! Favorite quote: What could go wrong?
Beyond war, inflation, the end of the technology/productivity wave, and financial collapse, we think the most potent and short-term threat would be societies demanding a more ‘equitable’ share of wealth.
