It will be hard to vote in those down-ticket races if your right to vote has been stolen.

This is one basic rights issue that perhaps Obama wouldn't find too divisive or too liberal to work on -- assuming that enough votes haven't been "caged" to change the otherwise certain outcome next week.

But, the GOP Secretary of State was caught doing it. Unfortunately, it seems to have been caught too late to rectify the situation.

That our Republican AG and SoS were re-elected was one of my greatest disappointments in 2006, even while the Democratic governor was soundly re-elected. People don't realize how much power AG's and SoS's really have.
