Republicans to bail from Iraq after 2006 midterms

What a surprise. That would be step one. Step two will, of course, to blame the Democrats. (Via Reuters (via Kos)):

The United States and Britain are planning to pull all their troops out of Iraq by the spring of 2007, two British newspapers reported in their Sunday editions, quoting unnamed senior defense ministry sources.

Look, I know the Iraq helped the Republicans win the 2002 midterms, so there's a bright side to all this, but now that the Republicans have decided to adopt Murtha's plan and withdraw, was losing the war in Iraq really worth a trillian dollars? And 3000 American deaths? And 100,000s of Iraqi deaths? And the loss of our Constitution? Somehow, I don't think so.

The Sunday Telegraph said the planned pull-out followed an acceptance by the two governments that the presence of foreign troops in Iraq was now a large obstacle to securing peace.

Republicans: Fuckin' chokers.

Please, can't someone give Bush a blowjob so we can impeach him?
