Righty dork blogger of the week

Man, you gotta get a load of this guy.

It's like he's a dorky doctoral candidate in engineering at some place like Purdue or something.

Hey, guess what, he is!

I really would suggest that he calm down and get a clue. He's not doing himself any good going on like this.

I agree that the guy from UNI was way out of line calling your dissertation adviser but come on dude, chill.

You'll end up looking like an idiot and harming your career in the process. Get a little perspective.

Just a little free advice.

UPDATE Oh man, now the wanker is sending us traffic! Anyway, I dare you to try to understand the rambling and incoherent post he links to as an example of his brilliant analysis of the lefty blogosphere. It's the oh-so-tired and unoriginal "we conservatives use reason versus liberals who use emotion" thing that I've only seen 300 times in my three years in the blogosphere.

As someone who once taught Purdue engineers in a past life, let's just say this inarticulate rambling mess of a post is fairly familiar. His writing is better than the average Purdue engineer's writing though. No major grammatical or spelling errors at least.

Ah engineers -- they're generally bright but they're also the most inarticulate and ignorant folks you'll meet at a major university!

The scary thing is that all of the folks he's linked to (and many of the commenters on his blog) are trying to help him out (some are being nicer than others about it) but he's being willfully obtuse about the whole thing. I agree with several liberal commenters who say the poor bastard is just scared of having to admit he's made a damned fool of himself.

Good reading! Favorite quote: What could go wrong?
Beyond war, inflation, the end of the technology/productivity wave, and financial collapse, we think the most potent and short-term threat would be societies demanding a more ‘equitable’ share of wealth.
