Saint John McCain hires Swift Boat team

Of course, McCain [genuflects] is a fully paid up member of the Partei that brought us the Iraq Clusterfuck, turned us into a nation of torturers, shredded the Constitution, and tried to destroy Social Security. McCain [genuflects] really is dirty. He has to be, since he's a Republican, and with a record like that, Republicans can't win if they play clean. So, what's a little propaganda? Times:

In 2004, Mr. McCain said the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth advertisement asserting that Senator John Kerry of Massachusetts had not properly earned his medals from the Vietnam War was “dishonest and dishonorable.” Nonetheless, he has hired the firm that made the spots, Stevens Reed Curcio & Potholm, which worked on his 2000 campaign, to work for him again this year.

So much for all that "straight talk" crapola, right?

Too bad we can't get McCain to take on Bob Shrum.....
