Maybe somebody at the health "reform" "summit" got Obama's ear and showed him why Gupta was box office poison? Especially since, at Pravda points out, Gupta wasn't even invited to it. Haw.

considering he was worried about the financial impact on his family of taking over the US Public Health Service ... it's clear that Gupta has his priorities.

I'd bet real money single payer isn't on the list.

The 'family' and 'pay cut' excuse are just as much bullshit excuses as they ever were. Recognition of priorities, my ass. Dr. Pearly Whites was politely shown the door. The withdrawl was your typical walkback. Fact is, the administration obviously got message. I wish Dr. Pearly Whites no ill will, but let's get real on why he 'left'.
