Sheep and corn: reviewing and bragging

Just a reminder: Sunday Morning Book Review tomorrow.

Let’s supplement those dying book review newspaper pages and review some books! What's on your bookshelf? What books have you loved, or hated?

Teaser: Who says sheep detectives aren’t the best?

Also, please garden brag! Does anyone have corn that’s knee-high on the 4th of July? More tomatoes?

Comments

i'm "waist high" this fourth of july

too bad it's only ornamental corn i'm growing. it's funny, nature. last year, my corn was pathetic and i decided to not grow it for food this year. but, all the decorative corn i've put in is exploding with life and health. i guess rain suits it well, as we've had so much.

Sounds beautiful

Are you sure you can't eat it? Some of the varieties are sprayed with pesticides not good for people--and marked so on the seed packet--others just aren't bred for taste or end up being very starchy when full grown but picked young are tasty.

May I say you have quite the green thumb?

What colors?

Many of the ornamentals are so interesting.
