I've been noticing a number of complaints about posts or comments vanishing really recently. I had one comment vanish last night and a different comment today. Often with me it's pilot error (heh) but I'm wondering if we're having a problem.
Please post here if you've lost a post, or a comment, recently with details--when, possible length, why it might not have gone through.

My two lost posts
Last night I replied again to Historiann, medium length, nothing a spam filter would catch, on the "what's good that you've read lately" blog entries...
This morning I posted a reading list from Paul Krugmans' class--might have been caught, lots of links in it--on Sunday Morning Book Reviews.
I'm sure it was the link count
that's a classic spam signature. (I fixed the ones that were throwing the width off).
Sometimes, you just have to wait. Delayed gratification is good for the soul.

riight, you post comments too...I will correct this. In my case, I meant I was posting comments (both were comments not posts.) I got no message, just no posting at all.
I broke down the Krugman reading and in smaller bits they went up fine. Could it just be size?
I lost two comments yesterday on the AA post
Hit post, comment simply disappeared, no error message or anything.
Rewrote it, tried again, same result.

Why this is the first election when I've been proud of my country, but I dunno, something went wrong.
I had a comment take several hours
to appear, maybe 3-4 days ago. No error message- probably was 6 to 8 hours before it showed up.
Do you want to hear about things that posted that you wish hadn't too? It'd be nice to have a system that would fix that.

Tony, yours was caught in the spam queue
I marked it as "not-spam," and now it's posted.
Sometimes it's over-zealous, but Correntians usually spot the legit comments and un-spam them.
Logging on to post a comment
Maybe a week or so ago I wanted to comment and tried several times, but my "log on" would not take. So there is a comment that didn't even have a chance to disappear. Now today, like a number of other days, I'm logged on without even hitting a button. What goes?
