Some things I don't plan to "get over" anytime soon

Oh, call me a "process liberal," but here are just a few Republican outrages I will neither forget nor forgive:

1. 1998 - Republicans impeach President Bill Clinton over a blowjob.

2. 2000 - Republicans steal the Presidential election, with the help of Jeb Bush (Florida felon's list) and Antonin Scalia (Bush v. Gore)

3. 2002 - Republicans use the AUMF (Authorization to Use Military Force) as a political tool to win the mid-terms

4. 2004 - Republicans use color-coded terror alerts as a political tool to win the Presidential election.

5. 2006 - Republicans putatively legalize torture and abolish habeas corpus with the MCA in futile attempt to win the 2006 mid-terms.

Readers, what would you add to the list? 'Cause I think I might have left out some stuff....

Good reading! Favorite quote: What could go wrong?
Beyond war, inflation, the end of the technology/productivity wave, and financial collapse, we think the most potent and short-term threat would be societies demanding a more ‘equitable’ share of wealth.
