The Mighty Member of the Big Dog, the elected Democrat allowed to take office until Obama: The Cl[inton P]enis. Who could begin to define a signifier of such humongous power? The Clenis
™ is worth about $10 million per inch as measured by the Republicans investigating it.... And to hear the Republicans tell it, The Clenis
™ is responsible for everything that's wrong with the country, then and now.... Watch them change the subject to The Clenis

I'm certainly no fan of Landrieu...
But she was lobbying for extra Medicaid funding for Louisiana. What's wrong with that? Louisiana, and most states, could probably use an infusion of Medicaid funding during this depre- er, recession. She knew her vote was needed, she knew they were willing to pay a high price, and she used it, not to help herself, but to help her state.
So this time I'll applaud Landrieu for her actions in trying to get something good for her state out of this awful bill.
And Halperin's always been a frat boy at heart.
