Examining the ecology of media lies
Once again Atrios alerts us to a Media Matters report that documents the news as entertainment reporting of ABC, never letting their viewers know that Obama was telling the truth when he said that illegal aliens would not be covered under his plan.
So why would ABC News leave that out? We have no way to know, but since ABC's parent company, Disney, has a relationship with a pharmaceutical company, Procter & Gamble, clearly they have a vested interest in misreporting the health reform story.

Low ratings for Obama's health care town meeting
President Obama's town hall meeting on health care delivered a sickly rating Wednesday evening.
The one-hour ABC News special "Primetime: Questions for the President: Prescription for America" (4.7 million viewers, 1.1 preliminary adults 18-49 rating) had the fewest viewers in the 10 p.m. hour (against NBC's "The Philanthropist" debut and a repeat of "CSI: NY" on CBS). The special tied some 8 p.m. comedy repeats as the lowest-rated program on a major broadcast network.
People are beginning to twig on the fact that Obama has no plan.
War is over, if Uncle Sam Wants You

How about you bring this up to the next asshole that says John Kerry disrespected our troops?
An ABC News undercover investigation showed Army recruiters telling students that the war in Iraq was over, in an effort to get them to enlist.
