The Lakota have declared sovereign nation status. So, all of you in the Dakotas, Montana and Utah will have to leave, or re-negotiate rent. We’ll see how far the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples can be pushed. If New Orleans is any indicator, ya’ll better be packing. It was adopted this September and the Lakota have good reason to succeed.
