Where the heck is Harold Ickes?
No agenda but curiousity. After the FKD's decision at the Rules and Bylaws Committee, Ickes seems to have dropped off the face of the earth; I even subscribed to a Google news feed for him, but nothing. Odd little data point.
Say, Hillary, are all Beltway Dem consultants in it for the money, or only some of them?
This is truly disgusting:
Dean's so-called "50-state strategy," which has sent paid organizers in state parties across the country — including heavily Republican stalwarts like Mississippi and Indiana — has been mocked by some as naive and ineffective. And his effort to create a national voter database within the DNC has been challenged by operatives, including Hillary Clinton adviser Harold Ickes, who have created a for-profit company building a competing voter file.
Oh my goodness, could there be a connection here?
Beltway Dem consultants slagging Dean because it cuts into their billable hours?
