It's sad being a Mormon
It is sad to be a Mormon. Seriously it is sad, Utah has the highest rate of depression in the country. Maybe the LDS needs to look at the society they have created, where so many are clinically depressed.
I guess it makes it hard to hold a family together, because while Massachusetts has the lowest rate of divorce, Utah is right in the middle.
If these people had any interest in protecting marriage and families, they would be studying successful societies and learning from success. Instead they are attacking gays and lesbians. The only reasonable explanation for this is that they hate gays and lesbians. No other theory fits the facts.
Minding your own business is an old American tradition
Letter to the Salt Lake Weekly
We have dozens of Utah families living in homeless shelters, and the leadership of the LDS Church has led a $20 million crusade off through the Nevada desert to California.
Squandering the good will that they have gained through their humanitarian efforts, they claim that the idea of the marriage of Jim and Bob of Arbuckle at the Colusa County Courthouse is an event of cosmic proportions.Oh, please, save me from such hypocrisy, and do your Christian duty and get those families out of the homeless shelters.
