I have been watching more cable TV news recently and it is MUCH worse than I expected. It is Soviet, no, scratch that, it is like radio Rwanda. It is amazing there isn't more violence in this country.

One of the reasons our leadersheep internalize every lie that is told is that they all, elected and staff, watch the news every waking hour. In every office on Capitol Hill TVs are turned on to Cable Nonsense Noise. It just isn't necessary and actually gets in the way of understanding what is going on.

It would also send a very loud signal to the cable harpies if it were known that Capitol Hill Dems had pulled the plug on their lies.

So, okay, I've been paying attention to Kings on the slim chance that NBC can program an imaginative drama instead of reality shows. Since it has Ian McShane, it has its interesting bits, but this week it turned the corner from mildly amusing and lyrical Biblical allegory into media critique.

When AAR began, it criticized the msm for its myopic, one sided presentation of the news but now they are joined at the hip, with “stars” of both being exchanged to join the celestial chorus for the Precious one, their Messiah, BO.

So anti-Hillary comments are now de rigeur on AAR as the various hosts call on her to quit for the good of the party. They are backing up in spirit and fact MSNBC’s Keith Oldermann’s calling for a hit on Senator Hillary Clinton. Yes indeed – birds of a feather flock together, you are known for the company you keep.

Did everyone get together and decide it was piss off BDBlue day today? Because that's what it seems like.

The latest? Keith Olbermann declared Elton John one of his worst people in the world for saying that Hillary Clinton is trailing Obama

in part at least, because of prejudice against women. I never cease to be amazed at the misogynistic attitudes of some people in this country.

I don't know who this asshole is, as I don't watch TV, but here's a steaming cup of "Shut the Fuck Up, You Stupid Prick." I really, sincerely, deeply hate this kind of "balance." What Nancy wears IS NOT EVEN ON THE SAME FUCKING PLANE OF REALITY as the fact that Bush and his enablers have been raping the treasury for the last six years, and it's only now your fat head decides to notice.

Um, guys- we already can watch you all chatter like Cathy in real time, we don't need your vapid, substance free bloviating online as well. Blogs of note and worth are, and I don't mean to shock you, made up of not just snark, but referenced, nuanced analysis and hyperlinked assertions framed in context and with relevant background. You know, what "journalism" used to mean.
