Obama White House "Mystified" By The "Left of the Left's" Commitment to Public Option
The Obama administration is stunned by the angry reaction of liberal Democrats after Kathy Sebelius seemed to be walking away from demands of a public option. Apparently, the administration never intended the "public option" to be a major focus of their reform efforts.
Via the Washington Post:
[At] a time when the president had hoped to be selling middle-class voters on how insurance reforms would benefit them, the White House instead finds itself mired in a Democratic Party feud over an issue it never intended to spotlight.
New debate question, "Would you pardon war criminals?"
I think it is time for all Americans to start demanding answers to, "Would you pardon George W Bush?" "Would you pardon Dick Cheney?"
If the Democrats candidates were smart they would all put that on their platform. What if all those "nice" people came to realize that Huckabee means that Bush would be pardoned of his torture policies and coming war crimes convictions?
Everyone with half a brain knows for a fact that invading Iraq was a war crime. That is pretty cut and dry. Most people should also realize (especially after the missing video tapes) that Bush authorized violations of Geneva. Someone needs a campaign video showing the rapist that Huckabee pardoned and superimpose Bush being pardoned for his crimes (including the rape of the US Treasury)
