FISHERSVILLE — A health care plan in Congress is the right elixir for soaring costs that are stifling business growth and keeping the elderly and uninsured from getting proper care, Sixth District congressional candidate Sam Rasoul said Wednesday.
The Democrat backs HR 676, a proposed single-payer health insurance plan that covers all Americans.

Roanoke, VA - Sam Rasoul, 6th Congressional District Democratic nominee, is holding a press conference on Wednesday, June 11th to address healthcare issues. The conference will be held at 12:30PM at the Crossroads Baptist Church at 31 Cross Road Lane in Fishersville. Rasoul will be discussing the need to increase healthcare benefits for all Americans and the importance of publicly funded, privately delivered healthcare.
