thoughts for Mr. Obama and his employees

Hot Tips for the Obama Campaign

BE PREPARED!

The press is going to ask YOU and YOUR EMPLOYEES questions!!

Really!

And this will be part of the job you're running for too!

If you and your campaign say 'you'll have to look into that,' it means the same as no comment!!

HAVE REAL REASONS READY! THAT YOU CAN JUSTIFY USING IDEAS YOU SAY YOU SUPPORT!

When you break campaign pledges--especially ones that you ridiculed your rival for at length, you have to do a better job of explaining--like, um, REASONS for switching that are NOT just total self-interest. The job is for serving the public, right?

IF YOU SAY YOU ARE FIXING A BAD VOTE, WORK ON IT!

Hot Tips for the Obama Campaign

Protect the Constitution!

You are running ads saying "America is a country of strong values," and you "love America." But apparently you don't love America enough to protect her Constitution? And her citizens's private lives?

Be a leader!

(Hint: that's the job you are running for)

Don't ignore very important issues for the country that are happening right now, especially if you promised to lead on them.

Does Mr. Obama think it's fine for Mr. Bush and possibly later on Mr. Obama himself to read all our private e-mails? Because what's friendship, free thought and privacy without knowing that our Big Brothers are watching us too?

Hot Tips for the Obama Campaign

Don't be elitist during your own campaign ads!

The transcript of Obama's new ad:
(in Obama's impressive voice:)

"I was raised by a single mom and my grandparents. We didn't have much money..."

Mr. Obama's grandparents did have some money and they spent a lot of it on him. Mr. Obama attended an expensive private school in Hawaii, partly on scholarship, true. But, according to USA Today, his grandmother, who appears in an ad for Mr. Obama, was a trail-blazing bank vice president. You know, bank vice president's salaries are more than 'not much money.'
