I didn't go to any of the official balls
but I did walk around the city last night. The air as so festive, I have never seen the city so happy. I cannot begin to describe the joy people feel on the occasion of the new administration. The civil service has a sense of deliverance. I know people on this blog do not care for Obama, and I understand why, but this city is thrilled.
