The Biggest Lie: Republicans "support the troops"

The Biggest of the many, many Republican Big Lies is that they, and only they, "support the troops." I've got some questions for anyone who thinks that Big Lie could be true. And readers--Do you have questions that you'd like to add?

1. Does it "support the troops" to start a pre-emptive war with a force that can't hold the ground that's taken?

2. Does it "support the troops" to start a pre-emptive war with no postwar planning?

3. Does it "support the troops" to start a pre-emptive war with no clear mission, and without defining what "victory" means?

4. Does it "support the troops" to send them into war without the armor that they need?

5. Does it "support the troops" to send them to war without being able to define the enemy?

6. Does it "support the troops" to subvert the chain of command to encourage torture?

7. Does it "support the troops" when only a few "bad apples" get charged with torture, and all the higherups escape?

8. Does it "support the troops" to use fake stories about how Jessica Lynch got wounded for war propaganda?

9. Does it "support the troops" to use fake stories about how Pat Tilman died for war propaganda?

10. Does it "support the troops" when Halliburton feeds them rotten food?

11. Does it "support the troops" when the Repubublicans in charge of the CPA "lose" $8.6 billion dollars?

12. Does it "support the troops" when the Republicans cut veteran's benefits?

I could go on. Readers?
