Nothing makes my pecker more ashamed than listening to a good, old-fashioned "You Will All Die and Burn in Hell" tarty tongue lashing from a preternaturally sex-obsessed Man of Sod. I suspect there are more submerged boners among his followers than there were among the eighth grade boys slow dancing at the Godless, once-a-month Friday Terpsichorean Trysts I used to enjoy as a thirteen year-old (ah, memories). Moved by Phelps' grave thunderings, I traveled back in time and found relevant lyrics I had posted in the comments at General JC Christian's place (it's been a couple of years and I have quite forgotten which post). IMHO: The Old Testament is a radiant pile of tribal fictions, which were used to direct and maintain some kind of order among the Chosen People, lest the Meshugganites get too rambunctious or start nodding off during Temple. Yeah, I said it.

Phelps wrapped up his God's Love Chat by reminding us that "...they did not choose the fear of the Lord" and "...it's now too late for you to repent, America." Okay, Fred, you win. But if you've won, and are going to Heaven, why go on and on about the rest of America? Your message does not enlighten, it's not an act of love, it's just your wizened, wraith-like form shaking your monkey bone and pissing on the world, even as you declare it corrupt. Why do so many who claim they have the inside dope on the safer confines of infinity find it necessary to spit bile on others and call it the Lord's will?

Nevermind. I think I'll just relax and go to camp.
