You run a great blog. You have some of the best sister and fellow posters and the commenters are top-notch.

I caught up with the overnight Xenophon thread this morning. A very interesting and sometimes uncomfortable but ultimately decent and open-minded exchange among all of the participants.

I feel more informed and a bit enlightened after reading it. Thank you to Xenophon, Lambert and the commenters for keeping it civil and for keeping the best kind of argument going back and forth without rancor.

After I put an amount in and sign in to PayPal it insists that I have to specify an amount. What gives?

I ran into that, too, then discovered a button at the beginning of the process, I think before you’re taken to PayPal, under the Amount box, that said something like “recalculate the total.” You have to hit to change it from zero, after entering the number.

But it works for me now. I surely hope that no hampsters had to die in the meantime.

Can I pet them?

First I had to reset my Paypal password.
