Wow. The Obama people have this whining thing down to a high art:

Essentially the Obama folks are saying if she doesn’t quit now, she’s doing something wrong like, um, Tonya Harding when she had Nancy Kerrigan kneecapped! Holy cow. What sort of nimrod would put it like that? We’re beyond a sense of entitlement now. We’ve reached full-blown neurosis at this point!

but part of the argument for HRC staying in the race is that if somehow Obama becomes unelectable she is there as an option for the Supers.
Now, the line between tough campaigning and Democrats eating their own is a blurry one. I contend that reasonable people can believe that HRC has crossed the line (CinC threshold, “as far as I know”, 2 patriotic candidates, reviving the Wright narrative…) in echoing right wing attacks on Obama. Its not inconceivable to interpret this as a strategy to render Obama electorally crippled.
In this respect, the Harding analogy fits, like it or not.
