This is too, too easy

CNN:

"[OBAMA] I'll be honest with you, we've now had 21," he said. "It's not as if we don't know how to do these things. I could deliver Sen. Clinton's lines; she could, I'm sure, deliver mine."

I'm sure that the second part of that statement is true. But the first?

Senator, if you could deliver Hillary's lines, you would have won.

It's no wonder you don't want any more debates.

A very bad tactical move

If he refuses to debate, she will taunt him for it and he will look like he's afraid of her. To manly-men, the only thing less appealing than a strong woman is a sissy. Expect a turnaround on this one within 24 hours, at which time he'll deny ever having said anything of the sort. Then expect some drawn out negotiation over format, and won't that be fun to watch?

I think Barack "No Mas" Obama...

... would fly, at least in some communities.

Likable Enough

I don't know, I'm admittedly not objective, but when I saw that video (complete with passive-aggressive middle fingering of Clinton to OFB cheers) I thought it was a mistake. That, like his "likable enough" comment, it made him...unlikable.

The "No Mas" is brilliant. Before when he wouldn't debate, it was harder to argue it was because he was scared (even though he was). Now? After all the whining? Makes him look scared.

They've given away tickets for North Carolina. Can you have a debate where only one person shows?

For the record

Clinton, Obama invited to April debate in North Carolina

There is an agreement between Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama for a Democratic debate in North Carolina. Now, the debate is over when to have it.

Obama had previously agreed to debate his rival on April 19th in North Carolina. But today, the Clinton campaign said she has agreed to a debate April 27th, sponsored by CBS.

HRC ran ads in Wisconsin deriding Obama's refusal of a (FOX) debate. Didn't work out well for her.

Davidson...

Let's try to be a little more elegant in our vocabulary choices, shall we? Remember, the goal is t to propagate -- like WORM -- not just to abuse or vent. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Really?

My comment got removed for that? Alright. Apologies (Honestly). Would "To hell with him" have gotten removed?

Anyway, here's the clip that got me so upset, where Obama comments:

They like stirring up controversy and they like playing gotcha games, getting us to attack each other. And I have to say Senator Clinton looked in her element. She was taking every opportunity to get a dig in there. You know, that’s all right. That’s her right. That’s her right to kind of twist the knife a little bit.

1. Obama desperately tried twisting the knife as well, but failed to land solid hits.
2. When it finally did come to policy, she cleaned his clock. Oh, and his entire candidacy is based on ignoring policy, instead insisting on personality.
3. The debate wasn't really a game of "gotcha" against Obama since his campaign is based on character and judgment, thus, legitimizing most of the questions. And he failed to answer those questions.

Again, apologies.

Oops, thought I answered this

davidson:

No need apologize, this is all pragmatic.

I do have a mental picture of either getting swarmed by OFB or being used as a Republican attack ad. So I worry about going over the line instead of up to it.

The key point is:

Remember, the goal is to propagate

Not sure yours did that, yet.
